About Susan
Susan Layton Tomlin joined the firm in 2010. Ms. Tomlin is licensed to practice in the State of Missouri and is also admitted to the Eastern District Court of Missouri. Ms. Tomlin practices in the areas of estate planning, real estate, and business law, including landlord representation. She also administers probate estates, whether decedent estates or guardian/conservatorships of minors and adults and facilitates adoptions.
Ms. Tomlin was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, M.O., graduating from Notre Dame High School in 2001. She attended Saint Louis University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, summa cum laude, in 2005. After working in the financial industry for a year, Ms. Tomlin returned to school, earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2009. Ms. Tomlin is an executive member of the Cape Jaycees and serves on many community boards.
